Biography
Marla Weissler Dudak M.D. was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Duke University where she graduated Cum Laude with a major in chemistry. Dr. Dudak remained at Duke for medical school training. Her five year general surgery residency was completed at University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital. Upon deciding to specialize in the treatment of breast disease, she was selected to attend one of only eight competitive breast surgery fellowships available in the United States. She completed a twelve month clinical breast care fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas sponsored by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Dr. Dudak returned to South Florida in 2001 to establish her solo practice. Currently, she treats only breast problems with special training in risk assessment and cancer care.
Dr. Dudak is board certified in general surgery, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is an active member in the American Society for Breast Disease and the American Society for Breast Surgery.
Dr. Dudak is currently on staff and performs surgery at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and West Boca Medical Center.
